Digital Technology
From coding to creative tools, our digital technology program gives students hands-on experience with the skills and thinking they'll rely on well beyond the classroom.

At Moonee Ponds Primary, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to give every student a broad, rich foundation for learning. Aligned with the Victorian Curriculum Fâ10 version 2.0, we take a discipline-based approach that helps students understand and engage with the world in meaningful ways.
Across every learning area, we focus on building both knowledge and skills that students can apply throughout their education. Capabilities like critical thinking, creative problem solving, and evidence-based reasoning are woven through everything we do â equipping our students not just to succeed academically, but to think independently and with confidence.

At Moonee Ponds Primary, our curriculum comes to life through a rich program of digital technology, STEM, music, sport, camps, and excursions that broaden every student’s experience and ignite a genuine love of learning.

From coding to creative tools, our digital technology program gives students hands-on experience with the skills and thinking they'll rely on well beyond the classroom.

From local excursions to overnight camps, we create experiences that build independence, deepen friendships, and give every student a broader view of the world around them.

From school sport to interschool competition, we give every student the opportunity to be active, challenged, and part of something bigger than themselves.

From classroom music to the Moonee Vale Instrumental Music Program (MVIMP), we give students from Years 3 to 6 the opportunity to explore, grow, and find their voice as musicians.

Our dedicated STEAM room is where curiosity meets creativity. In the STEM workshop, and creative activities space, students explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on projects that challenge them to think differently.
